Loggin'

Hopefully SUP'ing was just a fad, could this be the new craze that's hitting the shores for 2010. Screw balancing around on a big log, better trying to balance one on you...less chance of falling in the sea, ya not gunna annoy other surfers and perhaps doesn't look as stupid...

chasing magic stars

These shots are from a three day swell that ran till new years day 2010. Lots of driving round the South Hams looking and hoping the many variables we need were coming together somewhere...(shots of me on a boog by Andy Blanchard)

hard and Harder

Beaches have always had there intimidating locals...Back in the day Malibu had the late great Miki Dora, Hawaii's North Shore is watched over fiercely by guys like Kai Borg, Kala Alexander and the rest of the Wolf Pak, Southern California had Anthony Kiedis in Point Break (ok sorry bad example), Sydney's Southern suburbs have Koby, his brothers and friends making up the The Bra Boyz...
On the south coast of Devon i wasn't aware we had anyone, that was until after leaving the sea i saw these...
