The morning went far from plan, the pre arranged sunshine failed to arrive instead was replaced with rain. For me it got worse ending with a bust waterhousing and no chance of getting out in the line up. For Matz, Stef, Luke and Gibbings it was the opposite, they were out there and loving it

This year’s Winter X Games has introduced a new event called ReelSnow. In a nutshell, eight of the world’s best jibbers (street orientated snowboarding, opposed to up mountains) have produced a 60-second video edit on their favourite street spots, and these will be judged by a panel of industry pros. The winner will be presented with an X Games gold medal at the main event and a cheque for a cool $50,000.

The list of entrants are Jeremy Jones, JP Walker, Dan Brisse, Seth Huot,Louis-Felix Paradis, Nick Sauvé, Simon Chamberlain and Joe Sexton.

They all have incredible parts but for me, i'm sold on Nic Sauve's and Dan Brisse's for the sheer hugeness of everything they do...
